I thought we could all use some good, lighthearted fun for the weekend, so I present you with a video of Brad Pitt dancing.
The video was put together by JoliePittWatch reader and regular commenter Dana. It’s awesome and – in parts – hilarious! I especially love the very beginning when Brad announces that he does not dance and the written quote at the very end.
My absolute favorite dancing Brad Pitt is definitely from Burn After Reading. He’s just such an unabashed dork, bouncing around to his iPod and I always laugh no matter how many times I see it.

Dana I’m always happy to promote your videos, you do such a great job. I’ve only just started to play with video editing. In the past I’d just film something, maybe add music, and then upload it to YouTube, but a couple of weeks ago I finally edited a video using photos and video clips set to a soundtrack and I was so happy with how it turned out (I have it up on my YouTube account http://youtube.com/sherinakins and it’s the Halifax 2010 video if you’re curious). However, having done that myself I know how much work it takes for you to put these together, so they’re always very much appreciated!

Someone asked why the nanny was there, sure she was there in the place of one of the parents since there were 4 J-P kids there along with the body guard. People on Mega4A kept saying that the twins were there, but they were not; the kids belong to one of the mothers there, they even resembled the mothers. Angie said in one of the interviews that the kids go out with friends to sites like Magic Mountain etc without Brad and Angie due to the parents being so easily recognized. By going out without them the kids are able to enjoy the outing. I am glad they got to go to Mackie D’s rather then doing the drive through thing. You never know, they may have taken in a movie at the mall or did some fun shopping. Since there were no bags maybe they went to a movie. I hate that Angie and Brad have to stay away for the kids to go out for that is one of the job of parenting is to enjoy outings with your kids. I am sure there are other outings we don’t hear about or see. Maybe Shi will want her hair to grow and will move away from the parent thing after making a friend. Just think how lucky they are to make friends around the world. Once you travel to another country it makes you want to go more. My dtr is going to Turkey, Syria, Dubai, India, Napal and Africa starting Nov. 2. She has taken a 3 month leave from work and will be gone from Nov.2 to Feb. 2. She lives in NY and has friends from high school and from the NY that she will be visiting there. How lucky is that.

gena- Interesting! It’ll be very interesting to see if he does go, and if he brings any of the kids to the premire with him.
I also wonder if they will then trick-or-treat in NYC (unless the premire is really early in the afternoon, there’s virtually no way they’d be able to fly back to LA in time to trick-or-treat. Because of the fact that New York is three hours ahead of LA, it MIGHT be possible for them to fly out to LA for trick-or-treating if the premire is in the early afternoon NY time.)?
I really hope for their sake that the J-P kids get to go trick-or-treating (well at least the older one. Knox and Viv, as I said in an earlier thread, are still too young to “get” Halloween, let alone care about going trick-or-treating!).
It actually makes more sense in a way for him to go to the NYC premire since New York is closer to Europe (and thus Budapest) than LA is.
charms- I agree about the Enquirer. I don’t get why tabs seem to always forget that Angelina is still friends with Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton.
So it’s not very likely that she’d be upset if Brad were still friends with JA.
Also, why on Earth do the tabs expect Brad to go back to JA? First of all, they’ve both clearly moved on. Second of all, how often do ex’s get back together after they’ve been apart for several years (five in this case), and one of them has moved on with someone else?
Also, there are children involved. In the extremely unlikely event that Brad and Angie split, I highly doubt Brad is going to go back to his ex-wife when he has six kids to think about. I just can’t see him doing that to his kids!
Now granted, I know that’s it’s certainly not impossible for ex’s to wind up back together even after several years apart.
I even know of a situation where that happened. Not only that, but it was a situation where a child was involved and the guy had moved on with someone else (that someone else was a good friend of my mom’s which is how I know about this situation) and was married to her for several years before divorcing her and remarrying the lady he’d been married to before her (and no, the guy didn’t leave his wife for his ex. The wife was actually the one who filed for divorce.).
However, situations like that are extremely rare (in fact, those of us close to the situation I mentioned above think the remarriage in question only happened for one reason: She was after his money. The guy, needless to say, was extremely wealthy.).
And when they DO occur, usually it’s between people who first dated in high school (and likely split up initally only because they were either not ready at the time for a committed relationship, or were simply too immature at the time for the relationship to work).
Really, it’s absurd for the tabs to think that Brad and JA would ever get back together! I wonder though…Do they really believe that? Or do they just print those stories because they sell?

gena – that story in the Enquirer is really IDIOTIC! Why would Brad be calling Courteney in the first place? I don´t think that although he and CC sure still are friends on some level he would be calling her just to say how sorry he is that Courteney´s marriage to David ended. And the part that Angie would have had a fit made me laugh. She knows that all these tabloid stories are just made up and takes them with the grain of salt and certainly just laughs at them. I, personally, have learnt to laugh to stories like this. On the topic. Dana – thanks very mcuh for the video! It´s really hilarious. Shows that Brad can be really funny too. He really can dance.

joliepittfanatic – I totally agree with you on the subject of Brad and JA´s alleged reunion! I don´t think that nowadays Brad would even consider that kind of thing. JA is a part of his past and Angie and their children are his present and hopefully his future too. He would never, ever leave Angie and the children. Angie gave him the one thing he missed the most in his life while being married to JA: a family. He loves all seven dearly. And judging by the latest pics of Brad and Angie on the set of Angie´s new movie those two look like a couple of two teeenagers who have just fell in love. You named the two reasons why the rags write these idiotic articles: first of all because they believe them and secondly because it´s their sick way to sell more copies. I, for one, try to avoid watching the covers of these stupid rags. I only read reliable magazines like People Magazine since they always write positive and true stories about the JPs.
Kati, actually I don’t believe the writers of rag mags believe what they are writing. They know its pure garbage. But they definitely will keep writing because it brings in $$. Unless you mean the readers? Yeah a lot of people will believe that sort of thing. Some of us are happy with our own lives and can celebrate others good fortune. Some people are not happy with their own lives and h a t e to see people that have better. (And some people are just VERY gullible.) He waited a long time for children, and she went through some crappy things when she was younger.. so its nice that they found each other. I think its ugly and awful to wish that they never came together. If they had not, I think she would have adopted 2, 3 tops. It may not have been the ones they have and, I don’t mean to be harsh, but I think Zahara would be dead and God only knows what would have become of Pax. Thats mean. I believe that AJ met BP on the MMS set and he brought alot of lightness and laughter into her life. He was a different type of man than she had spent time with. He is a man that makes life fun and wonderful. He fell in love with Madd and then with Angie. She had always said that she would not bring a man into Madd’s life unless she knew it would last and not hurt Madd. Now they have six children and I feel that they do not take this lightly. We all have daily problems and upsets and they must also, but like most normal people they work hard to work it out. I believe that this is the same with the JP family.
I think Brad was completely knocked down by Angie’s doing in her life when he worked with her on the set of MMS. Her motherhood sure had impressed him but the way of her living out of usual HW life was very new to him. Talk with her was about world issues while HW people talk about HW business. His words to Euro press of ” since I met Angie I had become a new man privately and artisticly’ says it all.
Knowing her resulted triggering his desire. Family life, charity organization, playing more challenging characters (Babel, AOJJ, CCOBB, angry father in Tree of Life).

I don’t see why Shi couldn’t have worn her costume even if she did have a cold. Similarly, I can’t see why the twins wouldn’t wear costumes.

I also can’t quite understand why they couldn’t go trick-or-treating with their classmates. I mean, I definitely agree that they couldn’t have gone out with their classmates alone.
But I don’t see why Brad or the bodyguards and nannies couldn’t have accompanied them on the trick-or-treat walk with their classmates. With them present, I think it would have been safe.
Some parts of the article DO make it sound like it could be true, though. Like this part about Mad dressing up as a chimney sweep: “‘He is obsessed with black colors [and] loves the brush they carry’,” explains the insider.
It’s not exactly hard to believe that Maddox loves black, since we all know that Angelina loves black, too!
The article also mentions Pax trick-or-treating at the nearby home of a girl classmate of his. That also sounds believable, since itn was mentioned somewhere that Pax has a “girlfriend” at school (granted, I think that may have been a tab, too!).
So presumably the girl classmate in question was his “girlfriend”. If it’s true, how cute is that?!
One other thing that makes me think it’s true is the part about the kids make homemade costumes. From what Angie and Brad have said in interviews (for example, they’ve mentioned that it’s a rule in their house that each kid has to make a Christmas gift for one of their siblings), that sounds like something the J-Ps would do.
My guess is that the story is both true and not true. What I mean is, I think some of it is true, and some of it isn’t.
charms- I think Yoco means that there are pictures of kids trick-or-treating in Budapest on Facebook, not pictures of the J-P kids trick-or-treating there.

About the nannies helping with the costumes…Now that I think about it, I remember Angie saying in an interview that one of the nannies does arts and crafts with the kids.
So maybe that was their craft project one day.
charms – it really is funny to think that next year (July 12) Knox and Viv will be three years old. It really seems like yesterday when these two cuties were pictured as 2-week-old babies with the rest of the family sleeping. And now they are toddlers who sure are very active and love to explore everything they find. LOL. I somehow find this story in US Magazine about the JP kids trick-or-treationg both true and not true. Maybe they really went trick-or-tresting but why wouldn´t the twins have joined the older kids. One reason could be that they still are pretty young. But next year they hopefully will be there with their older sibs. If the story is true – which it very well might be – it was sad to read that Shi is having a cold and couldn´t be a part of all that fun. Either way the truth might also be that the family celebrated Halloween just by themselves at their rented home. Hope to see the JP kids dressed in their Halloween costumes next year. Hopeful they´ll be in the US then.

Great video. Hope everyone had a fun Halloween. We did. With that said, my youngest(of 7) is 2 1/2 and my oldest Grandchild is 21 months and they both knew what they were doing while trick-or-treating and they both had so much fun. So I think if the family did go trick-or-treating they wouldn’t have left the twins out of the fun. My little ones were also aware of the candy that all the other kids were eating. I just couldn’t see leaving our little out of the fun so I don’t believe the article.

Brad Pitt Back With ‘Jesse James’ Shooter Andrew Dominik For ‘Cogan’s Trade’

EXCLUSIVE: Brad Pitt is negotiating to star in and produce Cogan’s Trade, a comedic crime saga that re-teams Pitt with Andrew Dominik, who directed Pitt in the gunslinger role in the 2007 Western The Assassination of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford. This time, Pitt will play Jackie Cogan, a professional enforcer who investigates a heist that takes place during a high stakes poker game held under the protection of the mob. The picture is an ensemble and Pitt’s Jesse James co-star Casey Affleck has been also rumored as a possible participant.
Dominik wrote the script. The New Zealand-born filmmaker has only directed two films, making his debut on the Eric Bana-starrer Chopper in 2000.
Cogan’s Trade has been set up independently, financed by Inferno Entertainment, which will handle international sales. The picture is being produced by Plan B’s Pitt and Dede Gardner and Chockstone’s Steve Schwartz and Paula Mae Schwartz. Inferno’s Bill Johnson and Jim Seibel will be exec producers with Marc Butan, and Roger Schwartz is co-producer. CAA packaged it. The agency reps Dominik as well as Pitt, who’s managed by Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
The film quickly becomes one of the hot titles at AFM. When Pitt plans to make the movie isn’t clear yet. The actor, who has two pictures in the can–Moneyball and Tree of Life–hasn’t landed on his next project. I’ve heard there’s interest on a New Regency adaptation of the Mark Greaney novel The Gray Man, a drama about a CIA operative-turned-hired-killer, is targeted for death by a team assigned to rescue him. A chase leads them across Europe and leads him to a daughter he didn’t know he had. The script is by Adam Cozad and numerous directors are circling the project.
Hmm.. well I dont know what to think, because like angelove said, 2 is old enough to trick or treat. I went at that age.. my mom never left me out of anything, even if I didnt really get it yet. However, I don’t know them and their situations so I am not criticizing their choices. Who knows what they did. I guess they may not have taken the babies if it was just to a classmates house.. maybe that was just a “trick or treat” and visit for the older kids.
jpf, yeah thats what I was getting at. They wouldn’t be able to go on their own with the classmates. I have no idea why they didnt go with security. I just think its so very easy to create a story and make it sound feasible. If a writer adds little tidbits that everyone knows is very likely to be something this family would do, its much easier to believe the whole thing. Well anyway, Im sure they had a good time no matter what they did.
Inferno Entertainment is a new company and at Cannes FF they were trying to find financiers for The Lost City Of Z. It seems to me that they failed.
This is an interview Casey Affleck did in September. He has confirmed the re-teaming with Andrew Dominik in a radio talk show. He said the shooting will start in January.

24SI – Angelina Jolie, Hollywood actress, in all probability will be filming only a panorama of Sarajevo, Vares for her directorial debut, “Nameless Love Story”.
And those few scenes, we learn, that were supposed to save the Federation, will however shoot in Budapest.
This information is “Independently” learned from reliable sources in Budapest, which we partially confirmed from Edin Sarkic, director of the production company “Scout films”, which is responsible for finding locations for filming in the BiH.
“I would not want to give out information that I have not checked out, but you can say with certainty that tomorrow I will not go to Budapest, as already agreed. This means that there have been some changes,” Sarkic said yesterday. He added that the producers of the Hollywood movie “Tesla – ruler of the world,” whose arrival in BiH was announced the end of last week, so far have not abandoned their decision.
“I believe that they are waiting to see how the situation regarding the filming of Jolie in Bosnia will develop. The greatest responsibility for this situation lies with Gavrilo Grahovac, the Minister of Culture and Sports. His original banning of this film sparked a media firestorm and led to the producers to look for easier options,” said Šarki?.
We tried to get feedback from the Ministry of Culture and Sports, but they said they did not want to comment.
Enver Puška, BiH director, said that after the scandal in BiH, the producers are expected to withdraw from shooting in Bosnia.
“It’s terrible, because BiH was finally given the chance to be promoted worldwide as a country in which positive things happen. Finally, we would not only have received publicity from a Hollywood crew, but also money. People have decided to shoot elsewhere because they had pre-set deadlines for the completion of their tasks, and will presumably do so because of an ordinary officer in the Ministry of Culture and Sports and the Minister who is nothing but a servant, delaying the filming,” he said.
20 days before, the Minister of Culture and Sport Grahovac withdrew the decision it issued a month before that allowed Angelina Jolie to film her first-born “Nameless Love Story” in the FBiH.
After he got the script Grahovac gave permission for filming, but it obviously infuriated theHollywood producers, who upon arrival in Sarajevo ten days ago deleted several sites envisaged for the filming, and now will probably film most of the other scenes in Budapest. A significant number of roles in this film were given to actors from Bosnia.
Filming began in late September in the capital of Hungary, and the arrival of the team in Bosnia was planned for the second half of this month.

Charms- “If a writer adds little tidbits that everyone knows is very likely to be something this family would do, its much easier to believe the whole thing.” I agree! And the more I think about it, the more I’m thinking the the vast majority of that story, if not the entire story, is untrue.
Or, if a lot of it IS true, it was a case of US simply getting lucky and guessing correctly.
I mean, really, who that would be in the know about the J-Ps Halloween celebration would talk to US Weekly, or any tab, about it?
The nannies and other staff certainly wouldn’t, as they’ve almost certainly all had to sign confidentiality agreements.
And I’m sure the J-Ps close friends have also been instructed not to talk to the tabs. Not to mention the fact that I doubt they’d let anyone into their inner circle that they couldn’t trust not to blab to the media!
So it just doesn’t seem likely that US talked to anyone that would actually be in the know about the J-Ps Halloween celebration.
Also, even the more major, reliable news sources get things wrong about the J-Ps from time to time. For example, everyone (the media and we the public alike) thought that all six kids had gone with Angie to Budapest when she started filming.
But we were all proven wrong when Brad flew into Budapest to join the family- with the twins in tow!
Also, about a year ago, all the media outlets were reporting that Angie and the older girls took a side-trip to Ethiopia while the family was in Kenya.
However, I was just re-reading some of Angie’s Salt interviews, and in her Vanity Fair interview, she mentions that the entire family went to Ethiopia!
That actually made me smile to read that, because if everyone thought Angie had taken just the two girls, the J-Ps obviously managed to slip into Ethiopia very quietly and mostly un-noticed.
I imagine they delibritely kept the trip quiet, since if the media and the public had known that the entire family had gone to Ethiopia, everyone would have immeditely assumed they there for an adoption!
My point is, the J-Ps are so good at ducking under the radar that it’s not all that uncommon for even the major media outlets to get some details wrong!

I for one am pretty much over hearing about Lisa Rinna’s lips, but this woman and her remarks about plastic surgery are reaching critical levels of irony.
First she told People magazine that she ripped up a cover of the magazine when it featured Heidi Montag post-surgery, saying that she didn’t want her daughters to be exposed to it.
Now she’s become an advocate of “thre naturaleEatlook,” telling PopEater:
“I want young women to learn to love themselves. You don’t need to change anything especially your lips. […] All these young Hollywood actresses need to stop trying to be the next Angelina Jolie and learn to love themselves.”

mk04- Excellent post about the US Weekly article and whether it’s true or not. That’s what I think, too. Parts of it are probably true, but a good portion of it probably isn’t.
As for the dog story….Angie may not have liked that particular dog, but we know she certainly doesn’t h8te dogs either, as the J-Ps have two (and one that’s apparently visiting for awhile!).
joliepittfanatic – I agree with you on the dog thing. Angie probably didn´t like the dog that was on Salt. But she sure loves dogs since the family ahs tho of their own. I love the pic that was in W Magazine in 2008 after the twins were born and that were taken by Brad. In one of those pics Angie is with Jack who was just a puppy at the time. She sure loves to play with Jack and that other dog who´s name I don´t know.
