Launched by the Milan Elementary School Brozovi? of Kastav, the goal was to collect a significant amount of funds that will be donated for demining of areas in Croatia, which are still affected by mines. Ms. Angelina Jolie on this occasion sent a letter of support throughout the campaign, and the Forum for Freedom in Education and noted that peace education is extremely important in promoting a stable, democratic society. "The efforts of the Forum for Freedom in Education in the education of young people in nonviolent conflict resolution are essential for building lasting peace," said Jolie.
