Jon Voight joins Angelina Jolie in Italy
For months now Jon Voight has been saying that he’s been in contact with daughter Angelina Jolie and that they’ve been working on reconciling the differences that kept them out of touch for years. I wasn’t sure whether to believe him or not, although I was hoping it was true. Apparently it is! Jon joined Angelina, Brad, and the family in Italy!
Thank you to Amy who emailed me the link to this great video clip showing Jon Voight with Angelina, Brad, and Zahara as they board a water taxi in Venice.
It’s so nice to see that Jon and Angelina have been able to come to a point where they can spend time together and that the Jolie-Pitt kids will get to know their grandfather on Angie’s side.

The new site looks great, and I am so glad you were able to keep doing what you love. I will make one comment the comment button for lack of a better word needs to be bigger, had a bit of trouble finding it.
I don’t have much to say about AJ and Brad just glad they all seem so happy.
Before I read any thread, let me congratulate you Sherry on what I know will be an even better site (and that’s a lot to live up to) than Pittwatch. You did a bangup job with PW, and I know you will exceed that here.

Wow. I personally think Brad had a talk with Grandpa Jon too. I really think Brad let JV know that he would not tolerate his Angelina or their kids being hurt by word or deed; that all the kids were Jolie-Pitts and not just the bio’s.
All in all I’m happy for the opportunity for healing and the chance for their family to be together and grow together. This is really joyous news.

A little OT: Regarding the pics (of Viv and Angie looking out the window) CelebBabyLover linked before … my immediate thought was that Viv looked like Marcheline. Just to me, she looks more like Marcheline than Brad or Angie.

Good to see you back, Sherry. Glad Jon Voight and Angie have buried the hatchet and he is getting to know his grandchildren. As a grandmother myself I know firsthand the joy grandchildren bring. Her Imperial Highness (Z) is probably charming the socks off Grandpa.

Mary Ann- Actually, I think it’s fine if Jon says things like “Angie’s great” or “the kids are great!” when he’s asked about them.
But yes, hopefully he’s learned to not spill the more intimate details of Angie’s life to the media!

I really think that Jon has learnt his lesson and wants to concentrate on knowing his grandchildren. Princess Zee sure has already charmed her “new” grandpa and already loves him a lot. She and her sibs sure have met Jon a few times at the States and gotten to know him. Jon sure loves to play with those six and will certainly spoil them rotten. LOL. Hopefully the JP kids will have some special time with all their grandparents now when the family is in Europe. Hopefully Brad´s parents will arrive to Europe soon to meet their grandkids! They sure miss grammy Jane and papa Bill a lot!
