Angelina Jolie at the Roosevelt Hotel

Today, looking perfectly calm in contrast to the excitement sweeping Hollywood and the blogosphere, Angelina Jolie was seen entering the Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles.

No word on why she was there, perhaps for some script work or some other sort of business meeting, but Angelina looked fabulous in a simple olive dress with nude wedges and a great handbag. She looks so effortlessly beautiful, but that’s not exactly news!

Angelina Jolie’s engagement ring

After the exciting news of the engagement heard around the world, we can finally get a better look at Angelina Jolie’s engagement ring in this great new close-up photo.

It’s still not my style, personally but what I love about this ring is that it is absolutely Angelina’s style. It’s very classy, not too big even with its square/rectangle shape, and there’s something whimsical about it.

I also love that Brad Pitt designed the ring for her, obviously knowing very well what she would like.

Of course, what I love best is what it symbolizes!

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie – ENGAGED!

Going to the chapel and we’re gonna get married…

There have been rumors on and off for years – they’re engaged, they’re married, they’re splitting up. However it’s finally true and it’s been confirmed: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are engaged!

The engagement news has been confirmed by Brad’s manager Cynthia Pett-Dante who said, “It is a promise for the future and their kids are very happy. There’s no date set at this time.”

Rumors began quietly – or as quiet as they get with speculation about Brad and Angelina – when a ring was spotted in the following picture:

Looks like a classy ring!

I can’t wait to hear more about their wedding. I’m not a big wedding person myself but I’d love to see Angelina in a white dress. I wonder what type of wedding they’ll have. I could be wrong but somehow I can’t see Brad and Angelina having a huge blow-out of a wedding (you never know though!). I mostly see the couple with their family and some close friends, getting married at their chateau in France with a nice backyard wedding.
